PostNL brengt op 8 mei 2026 het postzegelvel Liefde voor landschap uit. Het vel bestaat uit tien verschillende postzegels met werk van Saskia Boelsums. Elk van de postzegels laat een van haar landschapsfoto’s zien.

Saskia Boelsums is opgeleid als beeldend kunstenaar en staat bekend om haar schilderachtige foto’s van landschappen. Haar doel is vooral het overbrengen van een intense landschapsbeleving. In haar landschapsfoto’s benadrukt ze daarom sfeer en emotie; het onderwerp van de foto’s varieert daarbij van zwoele zomeravonden tot ruige weersomstandigheden. Door deze benadering komt haar werk zelfs op postzegelformaat tot zijn recht. De tien geselecteerde beelden tonen de rijkdom en variatie van het Nederlandse landschap, gezien door de ogen van Boelsums.

De titel Liefde voor landschap wordt door Saskia Boelsums regelmatig gebruikt als motto voor haar werk. Haar meest recente boek en de lopende tentoonstelling in museum Koekoekhuis in Kleve (D) dragen dezelfde titel.

Het postzegelvel Liefde voor landschap is vormgegeven door ontwerper Sandra Smulders. De postzegels verschijnen in een eenmalige oplage en zijn exclusief verkrijgbaar via  de webshop van Collect Club van PostNL.

PostNL launches stamp sheet featuring landscapes by Saskia Boelsums

On 8 May 2026, PostNL will release the stamp sheet ‘Love of Landscape’. The sheet consists of ten different stamps featuring work by Saskia Boelsums. Each stamp depicts one of her landscape photographs.

Saskia Boelsums trained as a visual artist and is known for her painterly landscape photographs. Her primary aim is to convey an intense experience of the landscape. In her landscape photographs, she therefore emphasises atmosphere and emotion; the subjects of the photographs range from balmy summer evenings to harsh weather conditions. Thanks to this approach, her work comes into its own even in postcard format. The ten selected images showcase the richness and variety of the Dutch landscape, as seen through Boelsums’ eyes.

The title ‘Love for the Landscape’ is regularly used by Saskia Boelsums as a motto for her work. Her most recent book and the current exhibition at the Koekoekhuis Museum in Kleve (Germany) bear the same title.

The ‘Love for Landscape’ stamp sheet was designed by Sandra Smulders. The stamps are being issued as a one-off edition and are available exclusively via  the PostNL Collect Club webshop.

Deze exclusieve noordelijke kunstbeurs brengt 20 toonaangevende galeries, kunsthandelaren en het Drents Museum samen om de nieuwste collecties beeldende kunst, antiek en juwelen te tonen. Saskia Boelsums is alle dagen persoonlijk aanwezig bij deze presentatie.

From March 25 to 29, the newest works by Saskia Boelsums will be featured in a solo presentation by Galerie ZERP during Kunst aan het Hof. This exclusive northern art fair brings together 20 leading galleries, art dealers, and the Drents Museum to showcase the latest collections of fine art, antiques, and jewelry. Saskia Boelsums will personally attend the presentation every day.
The fair takes place in the historic havezate of the luxury holiday resort Hof van Saksen in Drenthe, the Netherlands. Visitors can also enjoy a beautiful sculpture route through the gardens, designed by Piet Oudolf.

The art fair is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00.
